How the depth is shown on the display

With adjustment knob you can set the desired actual depth e.g. 0.50 m = the actual depth is 0.50 m down from zero level.   

Height error

If there is a height error between the desired slope surface and the measured depth, the error value is indicated on the screen as a HEIGHT ERROR value. Also an arrow is displayed on the screen indicating the direction in which the bucket should be steered to reach the desired slope surface.

How to set the reference depth

After selecting the desired slope, the operator moves the bucket to the desired slope start point and presses button 2 (setting reference depth). Now the slope line in the display moves to the same level with the bucket tip, and the DEPTH-value on the screen is set to 0. The operator can now start making the slope.

How to set the slope angle value

After selecting the desired representation for the slope, the operator press button 5 to get the focus on the slope angle value. Rotating the set knob changes the value. Pressing the set knob saves the selected value. 

Extra display functions
The yellow and red LED alarm when the bucket should be steered to reach the desired slope surface.

The green LED shows when the desired depth is correct.

A beeper sounds for audible indication.

Bucket calibration

When calibrating the buckets, first enter into the system memory the measurements of the buckets to be used. It is possible to calibrate 12 different buckets. After that choose which bucket is installed.
