Company background

The company was founded in 1996 by the name of Tampere Multivisions Oy. Right from the start our goal has been to serve our customers, not just design new technology for the industry. Therefore we are not shy to use your own products, commercial automation components or design something new if it is needed. We can offer a turn-key solution in any case. About half of our income comes from customer automation projects. From these projects we gain all the time more and more information and knowledge of automation, and can thus serve also our other clients with a much wider scope than if we would only concentrate on our own products.

However, since we have been doing with the mobile hydraulics and machinery, and dealing with the problematics found on that field, we have turned that knowledge into a few products.

We have a close co-operation with the Institute of Hydraulics and Automation at Tampere University of Technology. This co-operation provides us theoretical knowledge to support our projects and helps us to find new experts for our future needs. Axiomatic is also participating in a few national technology programs together with TUT.

From Tampere Multivisions Oy into Axiomatic Technologies Oy

Changing of our name in the year of 2003 was the result of a long term co-operation with Axiomatic Technologies Corporation http://www.axiomatic.com. Our comprehensive technology and business integration agreement announced in 2002.

Our co-operation allows system and software expertise based in Europe combined with low-cost manufacturing and power electronics design capability in North America to provide a full spectrum of controls expertise to the mobile equipment market worldwide. With the combined product range from the two operations, more off-the-shelf solutions are readily available and can be supported with greater depth.

The ability to combine software, electronics, and electro-hydraulic controls tailored to customer needs is a key strategy as the Axiomatic group moves forward. The combined entity offers their existing CANopen and J1939 networked control systems, a broad range of electro-hydraulic control products, rugged switching mode power converters and a well developed technology base for customized solutions.
