HW contains greyscale graphical display, membrane buttons, SD memory card interface, powerfull 16bit 60MIPS Motorola DSP 56F8366 processor, 2 CAN channels, 1 RS232 and 1 LIN channels, 1 wire interface, 2 encoder inputs, 32 digital inputs, 21 digital outputs, 8 analog voltage/current inputs packaged in rugged IP65 rated housing. Second CAN port allows connection for instance to the J1939 bus. Axiomatic provides firmware libraries consisting of CANopen, display and DM8300-IO libraries. The last one provides easy way to control the on board pheriperals such as analog inputs in case. This approach allows you to develope the application software by yourself without spending valuable project time in designing and debugging hardware and pheriperal drivers.
